Everyday evangelism is about sharing the good news of Jesus through authentic relationships and everyday conversations. It begins with loving people well, listening to their stories, understanding the gospel, and being ready to share how Jesus has changed your own life.


Rather than relying on pressure or perfect answers, followers of Jesus are called to live with compassion, point people to Christ, and trust God to work through simple acts of faithfulness.

Icebreaker: What’s a story you never get tired of telling? Why does that story matter to you?

  1. We all share stories about the things and people we love. What makes you want to tell someone about something that matters to you? How does that connect with sharing the good news about Jesus?

  2. Romans 10:14-15 — “How can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?”

  3. Think about your own faith story. Who was someone who helped you see or experience the love of Jesus? What did they do that made an impact on you?

  4. The message said, “There are no bad testimonies.” Sometimes we assume our story needs to be dramatic for it to matter. What are some ways Jesus has changed your life that might seem ordinary to you but could be meaningful to someone else?

  5. What part of your story feels hardest to share with someone else? Is it not knowing what to say, feeling like you don’t know enough, fear of how they’ll respond, or something else?

  6. We were challenged to be compassionately curious — to ask good questions, listen well, and genuinely want to know people. Who is someone in your life you could get to know more deeply right now? What is one question you could ask them this week?

  7. How would your approach to evangelism change if you stopped thinking, “I need to convince this person,” and started thinking, “I want to love this person, listen to their story, and share what Jesus has done in mine”?

  8. “Experience the gospel. Be the gospel. Share the gospel.” Which of those feels most natural to you right now? Which one do you need to grow in?

  9. Take a minute to think about one person God has already placed in your life who may need hope, truth, or simply someone who will listen. What would it look like to pray for that person and stay open to what God might already be doing in their life?

  10. Matthew 9:37-38 — “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest.”
